ALAVIVA (Villanueva, Bolívar, Colombia) is the data controller for personal data collected through alaviva.com and our campaigns on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Google. This policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, and how you can exercise your rights, in accordance with Colombian Law 1581 of 2012 and its implementing decrees.

What data we collect

Data you provide directly: when you complete a form on the site (for example, the "Find your lot" quiz, the contact form, or an information request) we collect your name, WhatsApp number, email address (optional), and your answers about purchase preferences: type of project, lot size, price range, payment and financing preferences, purchase timeline, and city of residence.

Data from third-party platforms: if you contact us or complete a form on Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, or another Meta or Google platform, we receive the data you authorized that platform to share (name, phone, email, and your form answers).

Data collected automatically: while you browse the site we use cookies and tracking pixels (Meta Pixel and Google Analytics) that collect device and browsing data: pages visited, interactions, campaign parameters (such as utm and fbclid), and technical browser data. We store your IP address only in pseudonymized (hashed) form.

How we use your data

  • To contact you via WhatsApp, phone, or email to answer your request and share information about the lots and the project.
  • To analyze your preferences and show you the lots and payment options that best match what you are looking for (commercial profiling).
  • To measure and optimize our advertising campaigns on Meta and Google, including remarketing audiences.
  • To produce aggregate statistics about demand.
  • To comply with legal and contractual obligations.

We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties.

Who we share data with

We share data only with the providers that make the site and our communications work: Meta Platforms (pixel, advertising, and WhatsApp Business), Google (analytics and advertising), and our technology infrastructure providers (site hosting and database). These providers may be located outside Colombia; by authorizing the processing you accept this international transfer, which is carried out with providers offering adequate protection standards.

Your rights

As the data subject you may, at any time: access, update, and correct your data; request proof of your authorization; be informed about how your data has been used; file complaints with Colombia's Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC); and revoke your authorization and request deletion of your data where no legal or contractual duty requires us to keep it.

Cookies and pixels

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and manage your advertising preferences directly on each platform: on Meta under "Ad preferences" and on Google under "My Ad Center". The site works without advertising cookies.

Retention and security

We keep your data for as long as there is an active or potential commercial relationship and while it remains necessary for the purposes described. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration.

Minors

The site and our campaigns are directed at people over 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

We may update this policy; the current version will always be published on this page with its update date.
